July Council highlights

Council made the following motions at the July 19th Council meeting.

Council heard from Jacqueline Biollo - Vice President & Director Towns East for the Urban Municipalities Association.

Council reviewed the June financial reports, Municipal Sustainability Strategy Self-Assessment, Regional Communication System, Street Lighting survey, strategic/budget schedule for 2013 to 2015. Council approved the roadway rehabilitation project.

A large contingent of citizens were in attendance to discuss in the public question period seniors housing needs within Hardisty and region.
