Highlights of June 21st Regular Council Meeting

Highlights from the Town of Hardisty Regular Council meeting held on June 21st include the following items.

Council heard from Bryan Walker on emergency communications systems.
Council approved Bylaw 1180/12 a Bylaw to revise the Land Use Bylaw changing the classification of lots 7 and 8, Block 6, Registered Plan 945R from R1 (Residential) to C1 (commercial) zoning.
Bylaw 1178/12 the Animal Control Bylaw was approved by Council.
The May 2012 Financial Reports were accepted as information by Council.


Next regular Council meeting is July 19th where two delegations will be present – Jaqueline Biollo (Vice President of Towns for AUMA) and Denis Beesley (Bethany Group on behalf of Flagstaff Regional Housing Group).
