Highlights of November 23rd Regular Council Meeting

Council provided second and third reading to Bylaw 1173/11 with revisions as stated on the insertions and deletions document.
Council approved the transfer of $1,900 into the water resources reserve and $450 into a reserve for water for life strategies.
Council provided first reading to Bylaw 1174/11 a Bylaw amending the Land Use Bylaw.
Council approved Bylaw 1175/11 a revision to the procedural Bylaw, and a revised Policy 1011, which was approved to change the Council meeting dates to the First and Third Thursday of each month at 7 PM.
Council approved entering into the Intermuncipal Development Appeal Board with other communities in Flagstaff County regional.
Council approved a payment of $500.00 to the Battle River Watershed alliance for 2011.
Council by resolution cancelled the December 28th Council Meeting.

Next Meeting of Council is a special meeting December 7th at 7 Pm to discuss Draft 2 of the 2012/2013 budget.
Next Regular Council meeting is December 14th at 7 PM.
