Highlights of October 12th Regular Council Meeting

Below are the highlights of the Town of Hardisty Regular Council Meeting.

Council held a public hearing on Bylaw 1173/11.

Council approved the September Financial Statements, Flagstaff County Recreation Grants in the amount of $46,031.17, Fortis Alberta 2012 Electric Distribution Franchise Fee was approved to stay at 5%, Parkland Regional Library Budget for 2012 was approved at $7.07 per capita, Bylaw 1173/11 was tabled by Council for further review of items raised at the Public Hearing, Winter Road Maintenance Policy #3204 was approved, award of the EOC/Social Service Reception Centre backup generator was approved, the Flagstaff Intermuncipal Partnership 2012 Budget and requisition was approved, Council approved a Shared Adminsitrative Services Agreement with the Village of Lougheed, and Council approved making application for a Regional Collaboration Grant through the Government of Alberta.
